About My Practice

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, working in private practice with adults of all ages. My commitment to this work stems from a belief that we all seek meaning and connection, and are worthy of the joy and fulfillment both can bring. The difficulties we face in life: cultural, existential, interpersonal and intra-personal, require a supportive space where you can engage in the challenging but gratifying process of growth, and in the re-discovery of your own wholeness.

 

I use a holistic bio-psycho-social-spiritual model to meet people wherever they are in their lives.  I also trust deeply in the innate healing capacity within each of us, that naturally leads people towards healing.  Drawing from the wisdom of your body and the compassion of your heart, we will work together to explore new possibilities and openings, along with curiosity for any obstacles that arise, to move you towards wholeness and flourishing.

I enjoy working with people who are navigating a variety of life transitions, particularly regarding developmental, emotional, spiritual or relationship-based changes. With nearly 30 years of meditation and mindfulness-based study and teaching, 15 years of training in IFS (levels 1, 2 and 3) and exploration of somatic therapies, I offer a rich array of  models and practices to support your process. 

Additionally, I have completed the the Certificate for Psychedelic Research and Therapy at the California Institute of Integrative Studies, and numerous trainings at Polaris Insight Center, where I have studied Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). As a result, I am currently offering KAP, and look forward to supporting people's healing in profound new ways as the current wave of research leads to rescheduling of MDMA and Psilocybin in coming years. 

Additionally, I teach meditation with Awakening Heart Practice Community, online via zoom.
